The Goodhue County Saddle Club Association is a non-profit organization that was created in the early 1960's to promote horse shows, trail rides and club recreation in the Goodhue County MN area.
Members can participate in trail riding and horse showing programs. Points are tracked throughout the year in these programs and impressive awards are presented at year end.
The Association membership currently consists of five saddle clubs from Goodhue County (MN) and Pierce & St. Croix Counties (WI).
If your club maybe interested in joining GCSCA, please contact Email Us for more information!
We have hit the "busy" off season part of the year. The participating saddle clubs are busy working on show bills for the 2010 season as well as getting all of their business in order for next year. We are constantly making improvements and planning for the next show season. If you have something that you would like to voice your opinion about please contact a GCSCA delegate or plan to attend a meeting. All of the 2010 show bills are due at the January GCSCA meeting so that everything is in order f0r our book assembly in March.
If there is anyone with any interest at all in running for a GCSCA office please contact a current delegate, a local club officer, or a GCSCA officer. You may nominate yourself, so if you would like to be more involved feel free to step up and let us know - you may be PERFECT for the job.
The 2010 Royalty
Competition was held on the pleasure day at our annual show. Thank you
to all competitors - we certainly had some great members competing. Congratulations to our 2010 Queen - Kelly Neidermyer (Hay Creek Valley and St. Croix Riders Saddle Clubs) and 2010 Princess Jilliane Paquet (Hay Creek Valley Saddle Club).
It's
getting to that time of the year - time to hear about any changes you'd
like to see in the GCSCA organization in 2010! Please let us know of
any ideas or concerns you may have. Once in a while I'll hear members
griping about something in the organization - this is your chance to
actually do something about it instead of just complaining to others in
the organization.
Your ideas & concerns can either be given to your clubs GCSCA
delegate to bring to the monthly meeting or bring the ideas to the
GCSCA meetings yourself! Or if you'd rather - just click on the widget
below to add your comments and I'll bring them to the GCSCA meeting.
Thank you for your interest in the Goodhue County Saddle Club Association!!
